Reading, Book Presentation & Jazz Songs about Friendship

The foyer of Marienkron becomes a stage for this evening dedicated to friendship. Birgit Fenderl will read selected passages from her book and share insights on how the concept of friendship has changed over the centuries, why friends are so essential in life, and how circles of friends often become a new kind of family in our society. The reading will be framed by an emotionally rich musical program from the wonderful jazz singer Shlomit Butbul and the exceptional jazz pianist Reinhard Micko.
